Donation Agreement

Donations made through the Büyük Sahra Derneği website are processed by card through the virtual POS service provided by a bank or payment service provider. Refund requests must be submitted by email to [email protected] or by post to the address below, together with the donor’s full name, donation date, amount and any other information necessary to identify the transaction:

A refund process cannot be initiated for requests that do not reach the Association. The Association and the payment service provider cannot be held responsible for technical failures or delays beyond their control. The donor’s statutory rights are reserved. The courts of Istanbul may be applied to for disputes arising from donation transactions.

Cancellation and Refund

Cancellation and refund requests are accepted for donations other than sacrificial-animal donations where the slaughter has been completed and fitrah donations that have already been distributed. These exceptions do not affect the donor’s statutory refund rights. Once a refund request has been received, refunds made through the virtual POS are completed within 7 business days, while refunds made through a bank are completed within 3 business days. Information transmitted during payment is protected through encryption over an SSL connection. Card details are not stored in the Association’s systems. Card payments are processed using 3D Secure verification through the virtual POS infrastructure of the bank or payment service provider.
